The mission of the Journal of Supply Chain Management (JSCM) is to be THE journal of choice among supply chain management scholars, by attracting high-quality, high-impact behavioral research focusing on theory-building and empirical methodologies.

New Beginning in 2008:

  • Changes in the format and appearance of the Journal and an increased number of papers per issue, commensurate with a top-tier scholarly journal
  • Invited Articles from some of the most outstanding and highly recognized scholars in supply chain management and closely related fields of relationship marketing, operations management, strategic management and transaction cost economics.
  • Advisory Board, Associate Editor, and Review Boards consisting of the academic thought-leaders in the field.
  • Modification of the review process and development of a world-class group of Associate Editors to increase the rigor and best match the review process with the type of article submitted
  • Special topic forums on current issues - sustainable supply chain management and supply chain design.
  • Award programs - Best Paper, Best Associate Editor and Best Reviewer.
